FAQs

What can I expect from my first appointment?
When we first come to see you we will sit down and ask relevant questions about your current problem. From here we will then assess the function of the affected area by observing movement and palpating the structures around the area. Once we have all the information we need, we will then discuss an appropriate treatment plan to reduce your pain and increase your function.

What do I do if I need to change my appointment?
You can change your appointment by contacting us via telephone. Failure to inform us of this change, or less than 24 hours in advance may result in a £40 charge.

How many treatment sessions will I need?
Every person and every injury is different. Depending on the severity of the injury a realistic time frame and treatment plan can be made so that we give you the best chance of recovery.

Do I have to inform my GP before I contact physios2U?
No, you can contact us whenever you want advice or to book an appointment. When we have seen you, if we feel that you would benefit from further investigations regarding your injury, then we can contact your GP for you, or write a letter for you to take to your GP.

Is there a long waiting list to be seen by a physiotherapist?
No, one of the benefits of our service is that there are no long waiting lists. Once you contact us we will aim to see you in approximately 2-3 working days.

Who and how do I pay for my treatment?
At the end of each visit from your physiotherapist, you can pay them the required amount either with cash or a cheque. A receipt will then be given to you in return.
